here are some pictures from the 25th that peatree and i took while we were picking apples outside. my parents had been in Egypt for the time and trees were so full from them not being there to pick them that the whole orchard next to my house just smelled of apples it was amazing.
and this one is my all time favorite. it perfectly captures the moment:

i.just.got.a.baby.turtle. his name is oliver. 
as you can see, he is very small. but one day he will be a gentleman turtle and he will weigh more than i do. i hope hes aggressive and attacks people. kind of that was the truth and kind of that was a lie.
now all i need are two small sparrows, a baby otter, a mini-yorkie, a hedgehog, a gecko, a mouse, more fish, an ostrich (obviously so i can ride it to school) and another horse because i had to get rid of mine when i started college. i am getting closer to fulfilling my dreams of having an enchanted little menagerie.

Bright star. Oh be still my heart, that was the most lovely, well put together movie i have ever seen. everything about it was absolutely stunning. i would recommend it with my whole heart. i will buying it the second it comes out. it is especially good if you already love Keats like i do, it gives a lovely look into the events that inspired some of his most beautiful poems. the music was absolutely stunning, i bought the soundtrack when i got home and will no doubt listen to it until i successfully wear off all its charm. and the butterfly room! oh.my.god. i have never seen anything so lovely in my entire life, needless to say ive been googling like mad how to get my hands on some live caterpillars so i can have a butterfly apartment (please and thank you.) unfortunately they are really expensive and i want hundreds so i am kind of out of luck. its ok though, i will live vicariously through that scene every time i see it.
i found some stills from the movie but sadly none of them even begin t convey the beauty of those scenes so i highly suggest that you rush out and see it as soon as possible.

today is pea-trees 22nd birthday, we went out to lunch and went for a walk, opened presents and ended the night by having dinner with my family. my mom made an amazing peanut butter cake and we sat around for hours just enjoying each others company. i love my family so much and i especially love that peter is a part of it. he is my most favorite person ever and i adore him. i am indescribably lucky to have him in my life. and i can’t wait to spend all his coming birthdays together, especially the ones when we are a little old couple : )

Oh Eleanor. let me just tell you. i loves this bunny. she is my favorite little fur ball ever, of my favorite things about her are:
1. her soft soft fur. often i spend hours molesting her while i sit and do my homework.
2. the color of said wonderful fur, it goes from grey to black to white to soft red brown in amazing ways.
3. the fact that she likes me better than pea-tree.
4. her little pink nose.
5. the way she likes to sit on the couch with me.
6. i LOVE that little lump of fat/fur under her neck (that you can see in this picture) it looks like a little Edwardian collar.
7. also, i love when Eleanor runs through the blinds, darting in and out, whapping them with her head. the clinking sounds they make are so funny, and the let little slivers of light into the room in interesting ways.
8. i love when she gets hyper and runs around like crazy, hopping really high and attacking any thing we forgot to pick off the floor.
i desperately want more bunnies but pea-tree wont let me have them. which is probably a good thing seeing as we live in a shoe box and will soon be having to deal with the hassles of moving, one day though, i will win and we will buy some (as in multiple) baby bunnies. yessss!

oh.my.goodness.
today is our one year anniversary. i cant believe how fast this year has gone by. let me just say, i am so happy that we are married and i adore peatree more than anyone in the world, he makes my life lovely.
as you can see we went on a little hike into the woods and then for a little walk in a lovely field. it was glorious.
